Challenges:

  • Internal cybersecurity audit
  • Manual access provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Decentralized software license management
Roosh Investment Group scales remarkable businesses globally. Roosh invests in companies focused on capitalization (by Roosh Ventures) and profitability (by Roosh X).

The Problem

Roosh was preparing for an internal cybersecurity audit and was searching for a centralized Employee Identity and Access Management solution to help keep track of all user accounts across multiple platforms.

While evaluating traditional IAM solutions (including Okta) it became clear that the cost of implementation is much higher than it looked at first. Because it includes not only a subscription for selected IAM solutions (which are not cheap in the first place), but the underlying cost of migrating all software apps and cloud services to enterprise plans in order to activate SAML SSO and SCIM (the so-called SSO Tax) results in nearly triple the cost.

The Fix

Roosh found StackBob at exactly the right time and was delighted by the contrast of the required time, effort and cost. Because StackBob integrates with other apps via its proprietary AI-powered agent, it didn’t require upgrading every other tool in the stack to enterprise plans and hiring external consultants that typically spend months on integrations. StackBob’s Agent was able to integrate with every tool they used in literally a few clicks and without any additional upgrades.

Choosing StackBob over Okta allowed Roosh Investment Group to set up their Employee Identity and Access Management very quickly and without ridiculous costs. The team has saved approximately $150,000 by eliminating the need of upgrading every single tool to enterprise plans and hiring the IAM engineers.

This smart investment not only allowed the team to pass their cybersecurity audit successfully and brought them peace of mind, but also automated and secured routine tasks of provisioning and deprovisioning access for their team members.
